Gail F. Stewart, O.D.
Dr. Stewart provides a full range of optometric services
for the entire family. She performs complete eye exams, fits contact
lenses and treats acute and chronic eye diseases. Dr. Stewart practices
at the Winchester Eye Center.
Education and Training
Dr. Stewart received her undergraduate degree from
the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and earned
her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of
Optometry, where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa optometric
honor fraternity. She has completed preceptorships at Bloomington
Contact Lens Research Clinic and Vision Training Clinic, the Indianapolis
Low Vision Clinic of Indiana University, the Veteran's Administration
Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana and the Veteran's Administration
Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.
Dr. Stewart has held the positions of Associate Instructor
for Ocular Microbiology and Associate Instructor for Geometric Optics
at the Indiana University School of Optometry.
The professional experience of Dr. Stewart includes
serving as an associate with James C. Lett, O.D., in Chattanooga,
Tennessee and as a staff member with Omni Eye Services of Chattanooga.
Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Optometric
Association and the Indiana Optometric Association, and has served
as both secretary/treasurer and vice-president of the Southeast
Tennessee Optometric Association.
