Karen S. Skurner, O.D.
Dr. Karen Skurner provides a wide range of eye care
services to her patients. She is involved in patient care and maintains
good relationships will referring optometrists in Northern and Central
Indiana. Dr. Skurner performs complete eye examinations, with an
emphasis on eye diseases.
Education and Training
Dr. Skurner received her undergraduate degree in chemistry
from Indiana University and her doctor of optometry degree from
Indiana University's School of Optometry. Following graduation,
she completed a year residency in ocular disease at the Faust Eye
Center. Dr. Skurner practiced at the Faust Eye Center for six years,
at which time the practice was purchased by The Eye Center Group
and renamed Eye Surgeons of Marion. Dr. Skurner was instrumental
during this transition. She provides specialized care to the Marion
and Kokomo communities.
Dr. Skurner is a member of the Fellowship of Christian
Optometrists and the Indiana Optometric Association. She is also
an adjunct faculty member of Indiana University's School of Optometry.
Dr. Skurner is originally from the area and currently resides with
husband, Rob in Kokomo. Dr. Skurner practices at Eye Surgeons of
Marion and Kokomo Eye Center.
