As a board-certified ophthalmologist and Retina Specialist, Dr. Rita Singh provides expert care for diseases of the eye involving the retina and vitreous, including Diabetic Eye Care, Macular Degeneration, and Retinal Detachment. She also treats the retinal effects of hypertension, circulatory problems and inflammatory disease. Dr. Singh offers patients the latest treatment options in surgical and medical eye care, including laser surgery and advanced
surgical techniques.

Dr. Singh graduated as the valedictorian of her class at Marion High School in Marion, Indiana. She followed this standard of excellence when she graduated cum laude from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina with bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and History. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She served as Chief Resident at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, during her internship, and did her residency in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan. Dr. Singh performed fellowship training in retinal and vitreous disease and surgery at the Kellogg Eye Center.

Dr. Singh has performed extensive research in the field of Retinal eye care, and has been published in several well-known and respected national Ophthalmic publications. She is a member of the American Society of Retina Surgeons and American Association of Ophthalmology.
