What is an Optometrist?
Optometrists are the primary eye care providers of vision
care who diagnosis and treat conditions of the eye and visual system.
Optometrists specialize in correcting visual conditions with the use
of glasses and contact lenses. The optometrists at The Eye Center
Group provide patients personalized care with eye health as priority.
Many of them are private practice doctors who have come together to
offer patients comprehensive care in their respective communities.
Our optometrists are members of the American Optometric Association
and continue education in new and innovative trends in eye care.

The Exam
Our optometrists personally take time to evaluate your
vision and discuss your eye health concerns in detail. They provide
thorough eye exams, which include comprehensive diagnostic testing
for eye disease and the optimum optical prescription for safety and
visual performance for patients. If eye disease is detected, the patient
may be referred to one of our specialty ophthalmic clincs for additional
testing and treatment. The optometrist and ophthalmologist will work
closely as a team in providing the patient the highest quality of
care.
