Dr. Phillip Greene has provided vision care for patients
in Fayette and
surrounding counties for the past 40 years.
At the end of December, 2005, Dr. Greene retired from
general practice to pursue a goal for which there is a great need:
treating patients with low vision problems. To further this goal,
Connersville Eye Center has established a center for Low Vision
services right here in the Connersville Eye Center to serve patients
with low vision.
Low Vision Services at the Connersville Eye Center
Dr. Phillip Greene is an expert in providing treatment,
medical aids, and training to individuals with low vision conditions.
Dr. Greene leads the low vision clinic at Connersville Eye Center,
performing in-depth eye exams, diagnosis, and treatment of low vision
conditions, including specialized fittings for low vision aids and
the knowledge of how to use them most effectively.
Definition of Low Vision:
Low Vision is defined as visual impairment that is not correctable
through surgery, pharmaceuticals, ordinary glasses,
or contact lenses.

- Strokes and trauma
- Retinitis Pigmentosa
